Later in the spring when we determine what the trip will look like, a full registration with payment will be required.
Zoom Information Meeting
We will be conducting Zoom meetings to learn about ASP, the trip and our plans for this year. All participants, regardless of whether or not you have gone before, should attend ONE of the following information sessions:
- February 8
- February 10
- February 23
- February 25
The meetings run from 7:00-8:00 PM. Use the zoom link below to log into the session.
During a normal year, in preparation for the trip, Jesse Lee ASP would conduct orientation and skill trainings at the church. Due to the current COVID environment, we are not permitted to have in-person activities, however, we are hoping to resume them in some form later this spring. In the meantime, we will have three online orientation sessions to learn about the Appalachian culture as well as the “Three S’s” – safety, sensitivity and stewardship. These mandatory virtual meetings will be scheduled during March and April.
Traditionally skills training takes place during the months of April and May. With the uncertainty of our plans due to COVID, we have postponed in-person skills training until a definitive course of action is decided.
More information will follow once our plans are determined.
